Updated August 17, 2026. This notice describes the information Chesa Studio receives through its website and Hill Brook property inquiry process. It does not replace the privacy, screening, payment, or lease terms supplied with an approved transaction.
Information received
When you make an inquiry, Chesa may receive your name, email, telephone number, requested property mode, proposed dates or term, occupant or attendee count, message, consent version, referring page, browser identification, and network address. A later approved quote may also include agreement, terms-acceptance, allocation, and payment-status records. Card details are entered directly into Stripe Checkout and are not collected by the Chesa website.
How it is used
The information is used to answer inquiries, assess availability and conflicts, prepare an approved quote or agreement, prevent abuse, process an authorized deposit, reconcile payment, maintain transaction records, and comply with applicable obligations. Chesa does not sell property-inquiry information.
Services and retention
Website hosting, email delivery, database hosting, and payment processing may require information to be handled by Chesa's contracted service providers. Records are retained only as reasonably needed for inquiry management, transaction administration, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Retention periods may differ for an unconverted inquiry and a completed transaction.
Your choices
You may ask to correct or delete an inquiry record, subject to records Chesa must retain for a transaction or legal obligation. Write contact@chesa.studio with “Privacy” in the subject line. You may also call (203) 651-8649.
Housing and outreach
Chesa applies consistent property criteria and does not use inquiry information to discriminate on a protected basis. Broker outreach uses business contact information and a separate suppression process; it does not share the Institution contact corpus or public routing.
